Position Description

1.0 FTE, Teacher General.

Grade K-12 School.

Start Date: September 8, 2026.

Required Qualifications

• Manitoba Teaching Certificate.
• Minimum of five (5) years teaching experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Level 1 Manitoba Administration Certification, Level 2 Manitoba Principal Certification or Certificate for School Leadership considered an asset.
• Post‑graduate in Education Administration (or related field) or willingness to obtain.
• Understanding of Indigenous education, culture and traditions.
• Effective communication with co‑workers, public and outside agencies, demonstrated through written/verbal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize.
