Job Summary

This position provides psychological services to children and youth, as well as consults to professionals throughout the province. The Clinical Psychologist III will design, develop, implement and evaluate group therapy/treatment programs; conduct psychological assessment to conceptualize and diagnose using DSM-5-TR; and provide intervention for clients referred to the program, in close consultation with the interdisciplinary team (Social Worker, Physiotherapist, Psychologist, Dietitian, and Pediatrician). Brief individual therapy will be required when appropriate. The psychologist in the program will be expected to conduct research/evaluation. The psychologist will also be required to attend traveling clinics. They will be an active member of committees for policy development, as needed, and will be involved with health promotion activities in partnership with other organizations.
