Join OSM Thome as 3rd Officer on a car carrier trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional deck team, supporting safe navigation, cargo operations and upkeep of the vessel.
- **Key responsibilities**:
- Assist with safe navigation, watchkeeping and voyage planning
- Carry out cargo watch and support loading and discharging of vehicles
- Maintain and update charts, publications and navigational equipment
- Assist with safety drills, inspections and ISM/ISPS routines
- Support deck maintenance and upkeep of safety and life-saving equipment
- **Requirements**:
- Valid 3rd Officer (OOW Deck) license meeting STCW requirements
- Previous experience on car carriers or RO/RO vessels preferred
- All mandatory STCW certificates and valid seafarer medical
- Good English communication skills
- Team player with a strong focus on safety and compliance
