Our client, a national law firm is seeking an experienced accounting manager to lead the firm’s core accounting operations.

Responsibilities

Lead AP, AR, GL, and Trust Accounting functions

Oversee monthly accounting close processes and reconciliations

Ensure compliance with Law Society of Ontario, Law Society of Alberta, and Law Society of British Columbia trust accounting requirements

Manage quarterly financial reporting and support annual financial statements and audits

Oversee billing, collections, and AR performance improvements

Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 10 accounting staff

Improve systems, workflows, and internal controls across the accounting function

Requirements

CPA designation (required or strongly preferred)

5–10+ years of accounting experience

Strong experience in law firm or professional services accounting preferred
