The Accounting Specialist, Supply Chain is at the heart of the strategy in our Claims organization. Being a part of the largest business unit within Intact, the exposure of this role crosses many business units within Claims and our Intact strategies.

This position is a 12-month secondment opportunity based in either Toronto or Mississauga.

Responsibilities

• Lead a financial diagnostic and remediation initiative to stabilize reporting, improve data quality and establish sustainable accounting routines and optimize the budget/forecast processes.
• Reconstruct accurate monthly financial statements and strengthen the month-end close through reconciliations, documentation, and clear control standards. ...
