THE OPPORTUNITY

The accounting technician supports the team in processing transactions, analyzing variances, helping to prepare year-end files, and carrying out accounting activities across the various management companies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using computerized bookkeeping systems
• Prepare various financial and accounting reports
• Reconcile vendor statements of account
• Process payments by cheque, credit and debit cards
• Calculate and prepare cheques for utility bills, taxes and other payments
• Issue cheques and electronic fund transfers (EFTs)
• Document and prepare invoices and purchase orders
