The Accounting Technician plays a vital role as an effective internal and external customer service provider, skilled in a broad range of functions including clerical, administrative, and accounting tasks, along with tracking and reporting duties.

What you’ll be doing:

• Processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoices. Issuing cheques to vendors and handling lien payouts.
• Posting daily deposits. Performing general accounting tasks, including posting general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month‑end activities.
• Posting company Visa transactions, monitoring credit limits to maintain a healthy balance, and performing weekly reconciliations.
• Monthly reconciliation of vendor statements and execution of the monthly accounts payable cheque run.
