What it’s like to be a Northbridge Actuarial Analyst, Corporate Actuary

Our Actuarial Analysts are known in the organization for being the experts in providing insights to many teams, including claims, finance and underwriting; allowing us the ability to best serve our customers while mitigating risk. They use their strong actuarial knowledge to ensure our reserves are not only adequate to protect our customers in their time of need, but are also able to draw out the claims insights to help our colleagues in making important operational decisions.

They are passionate about digging deep into the data and providing their opinion of what we should be doing – this doesn’t just mean being good with numbers – it also means being able to explain these numbers to leaders without an actuarial background.
