The Opportunity
Lesley Universityβs Department of Psychology is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach: CPSYC 1101, Introduction to Psychology. Mondays and Wednesdays 2:00-3:15pm. Fully in-person, off campus at the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (for Early College program).
Course Description: This course introduces students to the major concepts and issues in the field of psychology. Topics to be covered include schools of psychology, the experimental method, the physiological basis of behavior, states of consciousness, perception, learning, cognition, intelligence, motivation, emotion, personality, and social behavior.
Qualities and Capabilities- Master's or doctorate degree in psychology or related field-
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills-
- Possesses a flexible pedagogical approach that embraces different learning styles and needs of students.-
- Prior experience working with high school students in a teaching or clinical capacity...
