Job Description
Hours of Work
This position is for 28 hours per week. The preferred schedule is 5 days per week but flexible for the right candidate and around the pay cycle.
Position Purpose and Summary
The Payroll and Benefits Administrator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries and issues.
This role reports to the Team Lead, Payroll & Administration and maintains accurate payroll records, processes payroll transactions, and resolves payroll discrepancies.
Key Areas of Accountability
Payroll Processing
- Ensure that all information affecting an employeeβs pay is processed accurately and on time including new contracts, terminations, salary changes, leaves, faculty payments, etc.
- Assist in preparing and submitting the semi-monthly Canadian and US Payrolls. ...
