Filiale française du groupe américain, le site de Caterpillar France est implanté en Isère depuis 1961. Avec un effectif d’environ 1400 personnes dans ses usines de Grenoble et Echirolles, l’entreprise est dotée d’un bureau d’Etudes dédié à la conception d’une partie de sa production.
