Description

Located at our Calgary downtown office, the Analyst, Commercial Operations is a key member of the Commercial Operations team, responsible for managing volumetric accounting, analysis, and reporting across Inter Pipeline’s Conventional and Oil Sands pipeline systems. This role delivers accurate, compliant, and timely reporting that directly supports financial accuracy, operational decision-making, and system integrity.

The Analyst performs in-depth analysis and reconciles complex datasets to ensure the accuracy of over/short positions, tank inventories, line fill, working stock, crude qualities, and volume entry into OVAL, while maintaining audit‑ready documentation. Operating in a deadline‑driven environment, the role requires a high degree of independence, attention to detail, and analytical rigour to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and continuously improve reporting processes.
