The Cardiac Anesthesia Division at Kelowna General Hospital is recruiting new members to support a growing program comprising 8 members. The division delivers seamless coverage with pre‑operative consultation, anesthesia for cardiac surgery, and post‑operative care in the Cardiac Surgery ICU, which has a 6‑bed capacity expandable to 8 beds. The annual cardiac surgery volume is 600 cases, with plans for significant growth. The scope covers the entire spectrum of cardiac surgery, excluding minimally invasive procedures and transplant.
