The Product Knowledge team is at the epicenter of eBay’s tech‑driven, customer‑centric overhaul. We create and use eBay’s Product Knowledge system, a vast Big Data platform built on listings, transactions, products, knowledge graphs, and more. Our team brings together experts in machine learning, data science, software engineering, operations, and big‑data analytics. What you will accomplish

We are looking for Applied Researchers to join us and help improve, automate, and scale our data‑heavy processes. Your work will involve projects such as Image Quality scoring; Automatic Taxonomy Improvement; Entity Resolution of rich, hierarchical entities; and Conflict Resolution between different representations of the same entity. You’ll also help design how these projects combine to power new experiences that delight our customers.
