MOORING MASTER
Background
The assistant Mooring Master will exhibit high standard marine skills and safety behaviors and will specifically deputize the Mooring Master in all relevant mooring operations, associated marine and custody transfers activities in order to be sure that they are performed safety and in accordance with local and maritime regulations and Company operational procedures. They will ensure that associated administrative duties are performed in a timely manner.
Authority
The Assistant Mooring Master will assist in berthing and offloading operations on aboard export tanker as per the unit specific related manuals and procedures.
They will help with the readiness and overall maintenance of the offload floating hose system and tandem hawser system.
They will give support for training relevant personnel in tandem offloading operations when required to do so.
