At the Faculty of Engineering and Science, Department of Materials and Production, Aalborg University (AAU), one or more positions as Assistant Professor or Associate Professor with Expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications are available from 1. January, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The position is based in the Artificial Intelligence for Operations Research (AI4OR) Group at Aalborg University. The group addresses a broad range of decision-making problems in real-world settings, alongside the development of relevant methodologies. Research is conducted in close collaboration with leading Danish and European companies, as well as international academic partners, ensuring a highly collaborative and synergistic environment.

The position as Assistant Professor will be a three-year position and the Associate Professor position will be a permanent position.
