**Main Responsibilities**
- Repair, perform plastic repairs, panel beating, straightening, replacing, and adjusting body panels, fenders, and other components
- Use specialized tools and equipment to repair metal and plastic damage, perform structural repairs in jigs involving frames and repairs to the body's load-bearing structure
- Welding, riveting/bonding
- Prepare surfaces before painters take over
- Install and fit body parts such as windshields, doors, and bumpers
- Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications
- Collaborate with other auto body repairers, mechanics, and painters
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Minimum 7 years of experience as an auto body repairer or panel beater
- Trade certificate or certification in auto body repair and paint or related field
- Familiarity with repairs on aluminum, steel, and plastic
- Knowledge of electric vehicles
