The Bosun reports to the Marine Section Leader (MSL) and is responsible for general deck maintenance, maintenance of all life‑saving, firefighting, and hullside deck machinery, and assisting the MSL as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all duties as required by the company management system, bridging documents, emergency response plans, and regulatory requirements as applicable to the MODU’s area of operation.
• Responsible for maintaining all mandatory certification for the role held, according to the company training matrix and training management system.
• Respond to an emergency as defined by the MODU’s station bill.
• Perform any ancillary duties assigned by Supervisor, Section Lead, or OIM.
• Supervise all AB Roustabout personnel.
• Maintain MODU hull side equipment including coating/paint fabric maintenance.
