Build Canada Journalism Fellow

The Line, in partnership with Build Canada, is seeking an investigative journalist to produce a year‑long series of in‑depth stories on Canada’s infrastructure, innovation, productivity, and federal spending. The Fellow will research and report on programs such as the Major Projects Office, Defence Investment Agency, Build Canada Homes, interprovincial trade, and other recent initiatives that aim to boost Canadian growth.

What You’ll Do

Over the course of one year you will:

• Investigate and write comprehensive pieces on Canada’s infrastructure gaps, innovation failures, productivity deficits, and government spending.
• Track and analyze relevant agencies and programs, including the Major Projects Office, Defence Investment Agency, and Build Canada Homes.
