The University of Ottawa seeks an Advisor for Academic-Industry Partnerships to work with Mitacs Business Development. This is a full‑time temporary position for a one‑year contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Mitacs Business Development, Research, and Programs teams to deliver high quality programming.
• Work closely with University of Ottawa stakeholders to understand the needs of researchers and students, identify industry and not‑for‑profit opportunities, and match the best Mitacs programs to these opportunities.
• Engage industry partners to determine their R&D needs, connect them with academic specialists, and advise them on suitable Mitacs programs.
• Create and maintain a network of industry partners and clients in Ottawa and surrounding regions, as well as academic partners.
