Business Systems Analyst – Payments & Banking

Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2/3 days onsite)

Job Summary

• Lead business systems analysis across banking, cards, and payment platforms, supporting end‑to‑end payment processing lifecycles for domestic and international transactions.
• Drive requirements gathering, solution design, and backlog management for payment systems including SWIFT, ISO 20022 (MT/MX), ACH, Fedwire, and merchant settlement platforms.
• Partner with finance, compliance, risk, and front‑office stakeholders to deliver regulatory reporting, expense optimization, fraud prevention, and data‑driven business insights.
• Perform data analysis and reporting using SQL, SAS, VBA, Snowflake, Essbase, and analytical tools to support financial forecasting, reconciliation, fraud detection, and operational efficiency.
