We are seeking a Buyer with a strong understanding of mobile asset parts to support our operations and optimize procurement processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in the purchasing process, from needs assessment to payment, including order management, warehouse replenishment, supplier relations, and support for operational teams.
This is a 12-month contract to start, with the possibility of becoming permanent thereafter. You will be required to work 3 days a week at the Montreal office and 2 days a week at the Laval office.
What you are responsible for:
- Ensure that established purchasing procedures are applied and respected;
- Research new sources of supply to reduce costs and improve the quality of maintenance products and services;
- Negotiate purchasing terms (price, deadlines, warranties, terms);
