The Buyer will manage and execute the processes for the acquisition of raw materials, based on a forecast and customer demand while maintaining an optimal inventory level.

• Transfer and implementation of functions according to the position needs between different manufacturing locations
• Provide a communication link between sales demand and production
• Participate in a daily meeting with the operations group outlining the schedule and special activities expected on that day
• Prioritize activities for the operations group when schedule conflicts arise and notify sales of the impact on customer expectations
• Ensure upcoming needs are visible and reviewable by the rest of the organization
