Job Description
Choosing the best materials, fittings, and tools for each task. As needed, reduce the size of resources. Planning an efficient work approach to ensure that each project is completed on time Making standard and custom cabinet components.
Putting together each cabinets components and the finished product. If necessary, apply sealant, varnish, and paint to cabinets. Inspecting each completed item to ensure that it was built correctly and that all necessary finishes were applied.
Repairing cabinet elements that have been sent in for service. Wearing the required uniform and taking the necessary safety precautions. On request, provide advice on proper care for finished products.
Requirements GED, high school diploma, or equivalent Completing a training program or apprenticeship will be beneficial. Prior experience as a Cabinet Maker is required, as well as a portfolio of completed works. The ability to visualize spaces in order to design suitable furniture.
