This opportunity at the North Island Hospital Campbell River & District Campus involves providing comprehensive anesthesia care in a new 95-bed hospital that supports a referral population of 60,000. Responsibilities include 24/7 service coverage with occasional surgical call duties. You will also engage in the teaching of medical students as part of the University of British Columbia’s program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer anesthesia during various surgical operations
• Collaborate with neighboring centers for surgical calls
• Provide care in ICU and ER setting when required
• Mentor medical students and anesthesia residents
• Participate in surgical services including orthopedic and plastics
