Our client, a Top 5 Canadian Bank, is looking to hire a Professional - Governance and Compliance (Capital Markets Data Lead) for a 6-month contract (with potential extension based on performance and business needs). This is a hybrid position based in Toronto, with in-office work required three days per week (Wednesday fixed, two flexible).

Responsibilities

Lead data management activities for assigned Asset Classes and Data Domains as part of the Capital Markets Data Governance Program.

Deliver the Data Governance Program stream, ensuring priority datasets are brought under governance by completing metadata, data quality, and data access management activities.

Partner with Business Analysts, SMEs, and Technology Leads to define in-scope data assets, identify Critical Data Elements (CDEs), and map them to business glossaries.
