Detailed Overview

Under general supervision, performs techniques relating to Electro Cardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, holter and Ambulatory Blood Pressure (ABP) monitoring. Performs related procedures including scanning, analyzing and selecting portions of test strips; records, summarizes and/or interprets data for use by physician. As required, under the direction of a physician and under supervision, may assist with Pacemaker interrogation, monitoring and documentation. Responsibilities Performs Electro Cardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, holter and/or event monitor testing and Ambulatory Blood Pressure (ABP) testing. Explains procedures and answers patient questions in preparation for testing. Scans and analyzes ECG, stress and holter monitor test strips; selects and assesses portions of test strips and summarizes for interpretation by medical staff.
