Job Description

Position: Case Manager, Toronto, ON – Claims adjudication for STD and LTD claims.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting clients in resolution of complex cases.
• Return to work coordination.
• Communication with health care providers.
• Track and present quarterly rehabilitation budget expense reports to policy holders.
• Direct contact/meeting with policyholders, union representatives, plan members, physicians and other health care qualified.
• Develop, monitor and implement cutting‑edge vocational rehabilitation services and goal‑oriented rehabilitation plans for claimants in receipt of short and long term disability perks.
• Coordinate services of external rehabilitation and medical management providers.
• Facilitate timely return to work for claimants, contributing to overall profitability of Group Disability.
