Chief Engineer

An experienced Chief Engineer is required who leads and/or manages the work of other technical staff that has a significant impact on the portfolio’s results and outputs. With a focus on delivery and operation, the Chief Engineer contributes to the development of solutions that influence strategic project and programme goals and business results. They recommend and collaborate in the development of new technical solutions and or standards to support strategy and operations.

The successful candidate will be a natural self‑starter and team motivator who will guide the technical team to deliver upon commitments. They are a leader and champion in technical delivery with the experience to back up their decisions and actions, preferably hands‑on at a high level. The role works with field‑leading subject matter experts providing detailed designs, and with supporting functions such as programme management, business, finance and senior leadership.
