Assignment Description

The position will work within the Civil Engineering group to help execute projects within NL Hydro’s Regulated portfolio. The work for this position will include performing all aspects of project design from the conceptual stage and prefeasibility studies through to final design. The successful candidate will prepare budget estimates, work orders, material and equipment orders and contract documents. Work will also include evaluation and recommendation for contract awards and performance of construction management duties for assigned projects. In addition to ongoing capital projects, the successful candidate will review and support the development of capital budget applications, while coordinating with a multi-discipline team to perform estimates and develop the technical justification for proposed work for NL Hydro’s regulated infrastructure.
