Job Description
Become a Clinical Laboratory Technician at Providence Care Hospital. This temporary role is focused on safe and effective specimen collection and phlebotomy.
In your role, you will be responsible for gathering and preparing patient specimens, ensuring proper procedures are followed under the direct supervision of a Medical Laboratory Technologist. Your work will be vital in supporting diagnostic accuracy and patient care initiatives while fostering a safe lab environment at Providence Care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect specimens including blood and urine from patients
• Prepare and manage specimen referral for analysis
• Support Point of Care Testing and quality assurance
• Help maintain equipment and ensure laboratory safety
• Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized Laboratory Technician training program
• Experience in phlebotomy is preferred
