Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provide direct hands on shop floor support for issues and problems that can’t be solved quickly or efficiently otherwise. Working together and keeping the jobs moving is key.
- Support production floor on CNC program issues.
- CNC programming. Generate CNC programs for new part numbers.
- CNC Re-Programing. Required when product needs to run in a different machine.
- Generate Set Up procedures for new part numbers. Cutting tools, Holding Fixtures, Sequence of operation, ETC.
- CNC Programs improvement. Old programs or programs that are defective and generate defect parts or not efficient.
- Verification of Work Orders. Material type and thickness to be the proper one that will be used in production.
- Tool verification. Tools to be updated with any possible Engineering Change.
- Design and Fabrication of holding fixtures for new part numbers.
