Job Description
Develop your skills as an Assistant Project Coordinator during an 8-month co-op with Aecon in the Greater Toronto Area. Engage with heavy civil infrastructure projects while managing construction details.
Aecon seeks motivated co-op students to work in a pivotal role within our major projects division. This office and site-based position focuses on construction management, resource allocation, and project analysis. You’ll gain hands-on experience and contribute to Canada’s infrastructure improvement through detailed tracking and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide data and analysis to project management
• Track productivity, costs, and project progress
• Perform quantity take-offs from construction drawings
• Monitor progress and assist in job cost reporting
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Prior construction industry experience is an asset
