Commissioning Specialist – Electrical

Responsibilities

• Manage commissioning projects and deliver commissioning services in new construction and existing buildings.
• Verify that installations function per design intent and contract documents, witnessing functional and integrated system tests.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and facilities teams to confirm safe and optimal performance of electrical systems.
• Prepare commissioning plans, schedules, and test scripts, review technical documentation, and produce clear, concise reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct formal reviews of documentation such as work plans, test reports, and start‑up documentation; identify, track, and manage deficiency close‑out.
• Support facility start‑up, training, demonstration, acceptance, handover, and transitions to post‑occupancy/warranty phases.
