Your Tasks
Responsible for the management of assigned commodities and suppliers including annual price negotiations.
Responsible for component and supplier sourcing strategies for assigned product group.
Provides cost and quality wise favorable quotations for required materials out of the NAFTA market.
Lead supplier selection for the NAFTA region
Perform cost and value analysis in cooperation with other departments, centers and product teams.
Cost reduction for new purchased parts and sub-assemblies by early supplier involvement and by working with the respective Customer Team Buyer(s).
