Job Description

We’re looking for a Competition Policy Trainee in Amsterdam for 6 months starting July 2026

The Competition Policy Trainee is an exciting role in the Legal and Corporate Affairs team of Liberty Global. You will be supporting the Competition Policy team in providing legal advice relating to competition law, regulation, and M&A. You will collaborate with colleagues in the Legal and Corporate Affairs, M&A, Strategy, Content, and other key departments within Liberty Global, as well as work with the legal and regulatory teams of Liberty Global’s operating companies and investments in Belgium, the Netherlands, UK and Ireland.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support the successful execution of M&A the company undertakes: for example, supporting on regulatory filings (merger control reviews, foreign direct investment/national security reviews, EU foreign subsidies regulation reviews), providing competition law support during due diligence, reviewing relev...
