Responsibilities

• RESPONSIBILTIES: Create and maintain CNC Programs and associated log files for all shop floor CNC machines, utilizing CATIA V5, ICAM, NCSimul and MSOffice software. Implement Laser Tool Measuring on appropriately equipped machines.
• Create and maintain Setup Sheets, Tooling Lists (Kit Reports) and Tool Life Tracking/Maintenance forms per CNC Programming and production requirements.
• Create and maintain Probing routines required to accurately setup part datum and/or part measurements, ensuring part quality through repeatability.
• Liaise with all Mfg. Eng. Sections to ensure a robust manufacturing process (Manufacturing Methods, Tool and Fixture Design, Tool and Fixture Procurement, CMM Programming and CAD/CAM Development).
• Recommend and implement quality or process improvement actions including corrective action for non-conformance and cost reduction.
