Construction Officer – Castlegar

Pay Rate: $64.40/hour, depending on experience

Contract Length: 1 Year

Location: Castlegar, British Columbia

Pay classification: T4 primarily, also consider INC.

Description

The Construction Officer will act as the primary construction site coordinator and inspector across multiple large‑scale civil, electrical, and mechanical utility projects, ensuring site work, materials, progress and cost align with client expectations, design specifications and safety benchmarks.

This position requires technical inspection expertise, safety leadership and contract management. Working conditions may include adverse weather, heights and underground environments.
