Overview

This exciting opportunity will involve working at the University Hospital of North Midlands (UHNM) covering all areas of stroke care, including hyper‑acute stroke care, post‑stroke care and stroke rehabilitation. UHNM is a tertiary referral centre offering a 24/7 thrombectomy service.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will be expected to provide expert patient assessment in the diagnosis and management of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. They will actively engage in and develop stroke services and provide clinical leadership to others. They will work collaboratively with colleagues to provide new ways of working across different professions and organisations, for example community and primary care.
