Role Description
We are seeking a full-time on-site Contador based in Mexico City, Mexico. The Contador will be responsible for managing and overseeing accounting practices, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, ensuring tax compliance, and handling payroll. Additional duties include supporting audits, analyzing financial data, and recommending cost-saving measures. The Contador will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with local regulations.
Qualifications
Strong accounting skills, including proficiency with general ledger management, account reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements
Proficiency in administrative and financial software tools such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms
Thorough knowledge of tax laws, regulatory compliance standards, and audit procedures in Mexico
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
