Financial Controller

Location: Montreal – Ville St. Laurent

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Financial Controller plays a key role in managing, supervising, and optimizing the organization’s financial operations. This position requires an excellent understanding of information flows between existing and future systems, as well as a strong commitment to continuous improvement.

This position allows the opportunity for an eventual promotion to Director of Finance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the monthly closing process, including analyzing and preparing adjusting entries, as well as preparing and analyzing consolidated financial statements and budget variances.
• Supervise the chief accountant in the reconciliation and accuracy of all financial data.
