Job Summary : Develops all aspects of control systems, equipment, and machinery. Responsibilities

Fortify and design control systems; develop and implement bench tests; alter software and equipment to ensure sensors and actuators function according to specifications; support and debug complex problems and change requests. Prepare cost estimates; compile required cost and equipment information, and write and review appropriation requests. Investigate problems and requirements of projects, and develop plans for solutions in line with economic, personnel, and environmental considerations. May be responsible for the installation and technical support of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based hardware and software. Coach and mentor less experienced Controls Engineers.
