General Ledger Accounting Responsibilities

• Month end closing cycle including Recs and JVs.
• Assistingin the preparation of monthly financial reports.
• Assistingand overlooking year end and interim audit.
• Preparing reports for the bank and ensuring compliance.
• Daily bank reconciliation and maintenance for U.S. and Canadian bank accounts.
• Monthly accounts reconciliations and Year end entries / reconciliations.
• Maintaining intercompany schedules for loan, trade and interest.
• Ensuring intercompany accounts are reconciled monthly.
• HST, PST, QST and U.S State tax filings monthly.
• Review of various accrual and amortization entries.
• Assisting users with onboarding in Concur where they can submit their credit card expenses.
• Reviewing the journal entries prepared by junior accountant to ensure accuracy.
