Job Description
The Dumont Technical Institute a division of Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position:
Counsellor II/III – Saskatoon Reporting to the Program Coordinator of Student Supports, the Counsellor plays a key role in supporting students’ mental health, emotional well‑being, and crisis intervention needs. This position integrates school‑based and community services to foster a supportive environment that helps students overcome social and mental health challenges.
Qualifications
Education: Minimum four‑year bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience: At least three years in mental health counselling, crisis intervention, and career counselling within the human services field.
