In this Department of Medicine position, you'll engage in comprehensive patient management by conducting consults, rounding on patients, and staffing the IM Rapid Access Clinic. You will work with a team of two established internists and collaborate with the hospitalist service on overall patient care. The skill set required includes critical care and cardiology experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage patient care in the Monitored Care Unit
• Round on inpatients and perform consults daily
• Cover telemetry patients effectively as needed
• Staff the IM Rapid Access Clinic with support
• Contribute to quality improvement programs
