The Delaware Thoroughbred Racing Commission is accepting applications for a Delaware Licensed Equine Veterinary Technician. This employee would be under the direct supervision of the Commission Veterinarians.

Essential Functions

The listed essential functions are fundamental duties of the position and are critical to successful performance. All duties are performed under the direct supervision of Commission Veterinarians. 

Collect blood samples for post-race testing, pre-race blood gas testing, and out-of-competition testing in accordance with established veterinary and regulatory standards.

Package and label biological samples, ensuring compliance with chain-of-custody protocols and proper documentation.

Accurately maintain Commission veterinary files, including medical, testing, and regulatory records.
