To support the delivery of a safe, effective and compliant decontamination service for reusable flexible endoscopes and associated medical devices in accordance with HTM -, HTM -, national standards, Trust policies and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.

The post holder will undertake a full range of decontamination activities and provide day-to-day supervision of decontamination staff, ensuring quality standards are maintained and service demands are met.

The post holder will support quality assurance activities, undertake routine testing and audits, monitor compliance with standard operating procedures, investigate incidents, and act as a point of contact for operational issues within the decontamination unit
