Universidad del Pacifico (UP) is a private nonprofit university founded in 1962 by a group of Peruvian entrepreneurs supported by the Society of Jesus. Today it has become a university specialized in the areas of economics and business administration. Universidad del Pacifico has been ranked as one of the most prestigious higher education institutions in its fields of specialization in Peru and among the leading institutions of its kind in Latin America.
