Job Description

As a Design Engineer, you will shape meaningful municipal infrastructure projects across Nova Scotia, helping to create safe, sustainable, and resilient communities. Your Impact

Design municipal and land development infrastructure including site servicing, water mains, wastewater systems, stormwater management, and roadway networks. Prepare analyses, calculations, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and reports that guide key project decisions. Provide technical advisory services and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, CAD technicians, junior staff, and project managers. Offer mentorship and contribute to the growth of emerging engineering talent within the team. Support field staff with construction reviews, contract administration, and resolving on‑site technical issues.
