The Designer is responsible for creating end items and component math data (3D/2D) while receiving direction and guidance from the Program Engineers within the CAD environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable in automotive applications, assembly and component design (i.e., CAD Software, PLM Solutions), while still acquiring higher‑knowledge and skills.
• Create and maintain 3D math data and 2D drawings as required for customer manufacturing and internal engineering standards.
• Build knowledge in best practices, processes and customers through ongoing professional development.
• Understand customer required standards/design guides and use this understanding to accomplish strategic objectives.
• Understand Cooper Standard product lines outside of main discipline.
